De Villa- Lobos a Brahms Elisa Fukuda & Giuliano Montini
BRAZIL
Brazilian chamber music has just been honored with the recording of this CD by Elisa Fukuda & Giuliano Montini. Among the most expressive and respected artists from their generation, with brilliant careers in Brazil as well as in other countries, they decided to document selected parts of their distinguished repertoire, with works of varied importance and characteristics. By Villa-Lobos, a composition that clearly shows his impetuous talent in the beginning of his career; by Schumann, works that show all his craftmanship in making chamber music establish a dialog with the musicians of his musical community, Dresden; by Brahms, the most beloved work for violin and piano, which reveals the utmost in creativity and artistic maturity from the author. And by Claudio Santoro, the biggest chalenge for violino and piano ever written by him, his highly appreciated Fourth Sonate.
